Children and teenagers are not allowed because it is for adults. We mostly hike between 6 and 8 miles with shorter hikes or walks of 3 or 4 mixed in here and there. We keep a pretty fast pace. This group was established for cyclists of all levels and disciplines (road and mountain). You'll see that we're pretty focused on road for the time being but perhaps enough interest will actually form a group to tackle some local trails! Some folks get a little confused by the title "Grind & Grub" - not terribly creative I'm afraid. "Grind" because of the bikes. … If you need directions to the forest, it's located north of Exit 2 off Route 495 (Take route 58 north towards Carver and follow the signs to the Cranberry Road headquarters in Carver) or west of Exit 3 off Route 3 (follow the signs to the park's east entrance on Alden Road, which is off Long Pond Road in Plymouth.) This is intended for anyone who is looking for activities in the Upper Cape and surrounding areas. Biking the canal, local trail walks, coffee, live music, dancing, eating out, kayaking, road trips, birding, gardening, making new friends, and having some fun, this is a way to find like minded people right in our neck of the woods.
