Interested in cycling, but not sure where to start? Or are you tired of going on rides by yourself? Are you intimidated by the Lance Armstrong wannabes that are smoking past you with those tight black bottom spandex and thick calf muscles? Well have we got the group for you! If you are new to cycling or if you are a veteran of cycling we invite you to gather for weekend ride/course planning, gear talk, training tips, social outings, etc.! Our purpose is to gear up, get on, get out, and get going …
… These Red Riders are inspirations to the rest of us on the road. This meetup will also offer unofficial group rides at differing levels of abilities. These unofficial rides usually will not have volunteer support; the ride leader will provide all necessary information as to the route, terrain and what the cyclist needs to bring on the bike. The unofficial rides will be primarily on Sundays and after the official training season has ended, or as an add-on to an official training ride for incre …
There are no upcoming Meetups.
I wanted to start up a leisurely bike riding group, around 10-12 mph pace that starts in the mid-afternoon, for those who aren't early risers. Helments are opptional; I don't wear one. All rides will start and finish on Portland's eastside. This is not a gung-ho riding group like the Wheelmen. You can show up in jeans and a t-shirt and you will fit right in! I do not consider myself the 'leader' per se; just an organizer. Group input is welcome too; to suggest an area that you would like to ride …

Trinity Road Riders is the Portland area chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association. The members of Trinity are a diverse group of people from different backgrounds and interests. We are a family-friendly group, and will not judge you based on the brand of motorcycle you ride. We ride cruisers and tourers, Hondas and Harleys. We enjoy day rides and long distance tours. Trinity is involved in many events in the Portland area, but we may best be known for the annual Polar Bear Run on New …

We're an easy going group of co-ed cyclists, beginning to intermediate level, riding in the Willamette Valley, South Portland and surrounding rural areas. We average 12-15 MPH during our rides. No one gets left behind! Rides are 20+ miles in distance, and We are open to doing other activities including short hikes and kayaking. If you have an idea for ride tour or activity, we want to hear it (especially if it involves a bottle of wine and good food at the end!) Wine, but no whining!

Your P.A.S.S. to Portland Adventure. We encourage you to join us and experience Portlandia for yourself!
This is a meetup group for anyone with interest in dirt bikes, quads, jet skis, water skiing, camping, etc. This is not a hiking group or a "row your boat" group, we like gasoline powered off-road fun and watercraft. We like to camp, socialize, play games, and go trail riding in Washington and Oregon. If this is up your alley please join the group. If you have an idea for a meetup please let us know, all suggestions are welcome. This group is GLBT friendly!

Welcome to our tribe! We are a range of riders from first treads to hammerheads, and from kids to those who will never grow up. We believe that all trails in life should flow, roots and boulders add character to the ride, every journey could be an epic one, and a little sweat on the ascent will blow off as the rubber takes flight from the dirt. Just follow the safety rules, be courteous, show up for rides you responded "yes" to, and have fun.

We started as a running group and are evolving into more, including swimming, cycling, multipsport events like triathlon and duathlon, and other activities such as hiking and winter sports. The group is completely free and open to everyone. All members are invited to add to our calendar and host meetups. We need and appreciate all the help we can get. This group is a tool for everyone to use. Welcome, and make yourself at home. Steve
